Has my order shipped?
In most instances orders are shipped within 3 to 5 business (Mon-Fri) when order is placed. If there are issues with a back order, colour or exact type/match of what was originally being ordered. You will be contacted via the information you provided through the website. Email contact most always preferred. You will be given the choice either to cancel, still proceed or back order and send what is available in stock.
My order never arrived?
Upon ANY order being shipping to the address provided within the order details, you will be sent a confirmation to the email/telephone number provided at the time of order. There will be an associated waybill number from the Carrier that was chosen based upon your urgency/priority for shipping. We will track the shipment and provide POD (proof of delivery) on your behalf if necessary. We recommend you purchase freight insurance if necessary for high valued items/commodities. You will be contacted and offered this before you order is finalized. We ask you let us know immediately through the website with your order number, if your order was not received in the appropriate timeframe noted to you at the time of order confirmation.
An item is missing from my shipment.
First please be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already according to the packing slip inside the box/parcel you have received. Look under the back-order section. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that all your packages were delivered. If they were all delivered and you are still missing items please contact us through our website details immediately and let us know from your packing slip what items are missing. Please be assured that the contents of each package leaving our facility are inspected, checked, verified and photographed (high value) before they leave our facility.
What will the Shipping Charges be or should I expect additional custom/brokerage charges?
In most cases since we are a Canadian based company any orders shipping within in Canada are very nominal and reasonable dependent of course on urgency, weight, value. There are no additional brokerage charges for any items in stock. We request the Customer in all cases to use our DESIGNATED carriers as we have set up applicable discounts and shipping instructions. You must provide good details at time of shipping. i.e., Side Door, Front Door, Buzzer #, Apt. At the time of order confirmation through the check-out box on the website, the estimated shipping costs will be added to your order. Brokerage charges are not something GTAdvantage Supplies Inc., is in control of and importing governments will base the appropriate and standard extra charges dependent on the value, type, weight of the goods if need be. Any additional questions should be asked prior to order commitment so there is a clear understanding on the shipping/brokerage charges which are to be expected. We will always provide alternatives.
When will my backorder arrive?
Backordered items are not in the control of GTAdvantage Supplies Inc. and we strive to do our best to expedite (if noted at the time of order commitment) to get your order to you and completed in full. Backorders are set by the Manufacturer of the actual item. We cannot set dates only relay what the Manufacturer of the goods have noted us to you the end customer. Our Customer Service being in mind you will not incur any additional shipping charges for backorders. As they have been received by us you will get them in the quickest and most efficient means possible.
